Interview 2/6, just received my offer this evening.

Generic e-mail rejection. Back in the fall P.I. said she wasn't sure if she'd be accepting students. Two years work exp., 1 pub., 10+ conference posters, 3 conference symposia, book chapter in press

I got an email from the faculty I applied to. They're hosting an interview weekend the 7/8 of February. Paying for transportation etc.

The program director sent a very nice email, and he followed up since I had not replied within 2 days. February 7th and they're covering hotel and airfare which is really nice!

Nice email; the program director even made a joke about our names. They're paying for hotel and plane tickets.

Invited to school visit (Feb. 7)

Stereotypical rejection letter, but still polite. Sure, I am disappointed, but not completely surprised considering the odds. Seriously, congratulations to those who are getting acceptances! Getting admitted into a doctoral program in psychology these days is like winning the lottery.

Seriously took them long enough

Emailed Department asking about status. Generic response: "The Quantitative Psychology program is finishing up admissions. You should receive official notification within the next week or so."

please decline the offer if you don't plan on attending, i really like this program.

surprise to know I got an early admission. Thought it was a serious phone interview. excellent program with fantastic young professors.

Status was changed from "Awaiting Program Decision" to "Final Review".
