Email from graduate admissions chair

not in ai/ml. mentioned the fellowship I got & virtual visit day info

Tandon CS Ph.D. No info about funding...

Do they say anything about official confirmation email from department or anything?

not in ai/ml. a random phone call from poi. I applied to 6 schools in total. it's the 7th chat from the 5th school I've received this cycle... I'm really happy and excited but also emotionally exhausted...

I also received an email invite for an interview. area: ML/Comp bio

TTPB who got interview request today: what's your research area?

It is hard to believe they are still interviewing students... best of the luck everyone!

First acceptance! No word on funding.

I can confirm that some internal students were not interviewed, but some were, like me. I also have no idea what role the interviews play in admission. And they seem not strictly standardized as their time range from 15min to 30min. Some are pretty formal some are not. Any one with more insights please share.

(add to my last post) The info is from last year. So it is possible that things are different this year.
