To the Stanford posters who received interviews. How was the sentiment of the professor who interviewed you. Were they very excited to have you on board? Or did they just say that the decisions will be known later, without giving much soft signal.

Anyone got accepted into Systems/Architecture? No interviews, no emails and basically self rejecting every moment.

TTPB, I am an admitted student also with only one faculty contact too. When I interviewed, my POI told me that they had so many app's this year that after the initial selection that profs were still left sifting through more apps than usual. This is to say that IMO, having only 1 faculty contact ~does~ mean that that contact was the one that submitted our candidacy to the committee, but that ~does not~ necessarily mean that they are the only person that wants to work with us.

To all those got offers: congratulations! Are there anyone got admitted and is in computer systems/networks track?

TTPB w.r.t Robotics: I applied but got neither interview nor acceptance. Self-rejecting at this point to maintain my sanity.

Any interviews in Robotics domain?

Admitted with decent funding offer. Graduating this semester from SFU with some research experience.

Information, Data, Network, and Communication Sciences (IDNCS)

Most of the programs send admits on a rolling basis. So yes, a few admits for Ph.D. would be out for sure if not all. It's possible that a few MS admits are also out. TTPB who is foul-mouthed: Wait for a month, you'll not believe how wrong you were. I also haven't received any decision, but I wouldn't be so sure that all the posts are fake. I applied last year and I was also in denial in Jan/Feb. It turned out that most Ph.D. admits were sent in Jan/Feb and the rejections were sent really late.

Although I have graduated from UCSD in Fall 2020, I never forgot the night when I received congs email from grad admission office. Graduated from UCSD with a bachelor degree in CS, applied in 2016 but got rejected. Worked for 3 years and re-applied, finally got accepted for MS CS program. Most valuable program when you consider tuition and living expense. Great experience here.
