TTPB: I have also applied for the MSc program and haven't heard anything. 6th Jan was the document upload deadline that changed to 16th Jan and then to 31st Jan for some reason. Not sure what is going on.

I have not heard anything from the program and neither have I found much online regarding the decisions. Their website says admits might be out by January end. Has anyone heard anything?

TTPB: What is the area you applied to and POI?

This year GRE scores were optional, so those who didnt submit gre scores have any disadvantage?

TTPB: last year I got rejection on 6th feb. So it is not entirely true that, they will send rejection at the end.

POI gave an unofficial acceptance. Have one acm sigcomm ccr paper and one is currently submitted at usenix atc

when can we expect the admission decision for PhD CS

TTPB who got rejected: It seems odd getting a rejection at this point. Most of the programs send rejections after all the acceptances have been sent. So I would expect rejections in early/mid-March.

TTPB: Have you applied for AI program ?

TTPB, it seems strange given the profile. However, I suppose admission depends on multiple factors - is it a top 5/7 IIT or the newer ones, was your branch CS, are the publications at good places and/or first-authored, were GRE scores high... If all of these factors are in your favor then I suppose you would anyways get an admit at a "better" place.
