Email to check decision on portal. No interview. Field: Robotics

Got an interview with MILA prof from UdeM. Still waiting for a decision though.

Unofficial accept email from POIs and director confirming that I will get an official admission email

Is Berkeley done choosing EECS PhD students?

Does any NLP applicant receive an interview request? Could you share the initial of your POI?

for all the students planning to study in MILA next year, let's form a community to support each other here: t.me/mila_fall2021

No GRE, No interview. Two workshop papers. Some research experience, not great GPA.

Got an email from the university to check the decision status on portal

TTPB : Thanks for the response

TTPB: I applied before the December 15 scholarship deadline

TTPB : To the international applicant, Congratulations on getting accepted. Did you submit your application in December or in January ?

Area: Robotics

Received interview after coding assignment. Looks like the prof is interviewing 10+ people though.

TTPB mentioning a coding assignment: Did you apply for systems/architecture? Also received a coding assignment but no actual interview. Assuming we are talking about the same POI, I guess they just send the coding assignment to whoever mentions their name and it's not really a shortlist.

4.0 GPA from top 10 US CS program. Internships at FAANG and undergrad research experience. No publications however.

CV. No Interview.

TTPB: A PhD student told me that invites are sent by 2nd week, Feb. Still some time to go.
