4a/2w/1r/9p. Congrats to those admitted!

Emailed me to check an update on the portal. No single acceptance into any sociology phd program. What a bummer.

got an email to check the portal

received the admission email an hour after the interview, but no specific funding information yet.

I saw a discussion on the forum that Irvine hasn’t admitted international students yet, so I’m sharing my result. Had the interview yesterday morning and got an email this morning to check the portal.

Interviewed on January 21.

Happy to answer any questions! 2a/1r/12p

I got the email for an interview with just one of my potential supervisors after tomorrow. I had already spoken to both potential supervisors and they had given me input for my research proposal. I did my undergrad at the University of Toronto, double majoring in Sociology and PolSci and graduating with distinction. I did an LLM at the American University in Cairo, GPA was 3.85 and I received an award for my thesis.
