320s GRE, around 8 GPA, no papers, 2-year work ex in decent company. Expected, yet still excited cuz of first admit!

Will very much likely accept this offer. To the post below: may I ask how your funding package is like, and will you accept your offer from IUB?

Not have been interviewed. Any has heard back from these schools?

No reason was given. IU for my B.S. and M.S. and finished both with a 4.0.

TTPB: I received an email too 2 weeks back and never replied to my email either. But the good news is, a week later I received official acceptance from the school. So give it some time they're probably going over the paperwork to give you a formal offer. Good luck

Emailed asking if I am still interested in their program. Emailed back couple days ago and have not received a reply yet....

Was accepted into dual PhD program with physics and complex systems and networks. Applied for HEP-ex and have been talking to professors on and off since December but nothing formal. Haven't received official acceptance to phys yet but was told by the director of graduate admissions that the dual PhD situation had slowed the offer letter but I am definitely accepted. I have received the acceptance letter from the NSF-NRT already which also says I've been accepted into the physics program as well.

Accepted into dual PhD program with Complex Systems and Networks and Physics. Very very excited about it.

I really love IUB cuz I went to high school in Bloomington, amazing campus and environment. Very happy about the offer! But since there's no scholarship (public university lol), I will go somewhere else. Congrats to everyone accepted and good luck everyone!

no one has been given the seat. They're waiting to see the yield rate from their acceptance offers prior to offering waitlisted applicants a seat. I believe their admitted students day is this coming weekend, so maybe people will make their decisions after that. If you're going to decline the offer, please do so quickly . . .

Anyone heard back from the waitlisted pool? I see someone declined an offer but I have not heard anything.. So wondering if someone else got that seat?
