Any idea if and when more decisions are coming? Both acceptances and rejections typically came at Feb start but I have not heard anything from them

This is the only response I have received from all my applications. Congratulations to all who got in.

General rejection email. Over 2000 applicants.....

2 publications (not related to the POI's research), several workshop papers in top conferences. Sigh. No interview. At this point, there is no waitlists.

Pointer on the lower end 3.1/4, amazing LoRs, tier B college from India, no publications, 1.5 years of experience as a software engineer.

Rejected. Idk what Wisconsin Madison wants. Looking at some of the profiles of rejects here, I am aware I didn't stand any good chance. But feel very gutted. First reject as well.

Is it equally hard to get into fields like Databases and Information Retrieval when compared to AI/ML ?

1st Reject of the season. ECE undergrad from IIT. 2+ years work ex. 3 LOR: 2 acad + 1 professional.

GRE : Q-170,V-156,AWA-3.5 Toefl: 105 CPI: 9.34/10 NIT Allahabad

Got a rejection, but was really hoping to get accepted here. Can anyone please help and let me know based on my profile what colleges i might get ? I have no publication but have filed a Trade Secret. Working with one of the top trading firms on projects very pertinent to the field I have applied for. LORs from some good people.

Got into AI, CS and SE. Not sure if I will accept

Life Sucks! :/

EE from 3rd gen IIT - high GPA - good LORs - DLCV profile - 1 ok pub, 2 under review at A* - 6months+ research at very good Indian lab. EE to CS shift is indeed difficult, as they say :)

Damn, don't know what UW Madison wants.

First reject: 1 research experience but no publications. From India.

Oh well expected. But still hurst to see after the application process and fee.
