Oh my god!!! It is such a relief to know that I have an acceptance especially as my first result (I know those rejections are coming down the line)! I got a very generic email to check the portal, which was terrifying. Applying right out of undergrad and am sitting in class right now trying not to freak out! 1a/0r/5p

probably will decline my offer, good luck to everyone on the wl!

I think they straight-up forgot about my application or ignored it because I had to email them for an admissions update.

Congrats to those who got in!! At peace with this since I already accepted an amazing offer from my dream program!! 4a/4r/7p

devastated

Two master’s degrees with high distinction, extensive professional experience in mental health, research/publications/conference presentations, teaching experience, and served as an undergraduate advisor. I’ve also been deeply involved in volunteering, and my most recent master’s is from a top international university. I truly believed I was a strong fit. Getting rejected is really tough, and I’m feeling incredibly disappointed. Brown was the only U.S. university I applied to, so this one stings. Wishing the best to those who got in—what an amazing opportunity you have! I really tried my best!

Disappointing

Congrats to the ones who got in! I could share my background too. BS in Math, GPA 3.19 :( MA in Sociology, GPA 3.92. No GRE. 1.5 years of research experience, qualitative and quantitative, including independent fieldwork. Few conference presentations but no publications. I was expecting it. (0a/3r/0w/13p)
