Emailed to request status update and told I was not in their top 10 candidates (and deemed I was less 'committed' to scholarly work because I did a poetry sub-concentration for my BA and a poetry-focused MA) but they aren't sending official rejections out to people until they know they have their spots full.

GPA is from Master's.

Congrats to all who were accepted!! 1a/0w/4r/4p

Reposting, anyone planning to decline admission?

not an interview/notification. i am wondering if columbia has released many acceptances yet? i see one acceptance and so many waitlists. Trying to figure out if i am just waiting on rejection or no. Can anyone provide any details?

Got my undergrad at Portland State. An amazing email from the DGS welcoming me to the program. Was also enrolled in the MS for Book Publishing, but ended up only going with the English MA as it aligned with my long term goals more.

Another year, another sentence long rejection. I received an email saying my portal was updated, and thank god I did not end up in Pork Roll territory. – 0a/3w/5r/4p
