rejected no interview, "check portal" email and form letter

GPA is undergrad. Have 2 MS degrees, one related (3.7 MS 1, 4.0 MS 2). 15 years experience in counseling (as volunteer), 20 years research. 12 journal articles (including in Nature), 15 conference talks, 9 posters. I was a sponsored student so this was at ZERO cost to the program.

We have received your application and supporting documents for admission to the Graduate School. After careful consideration, the faculty of the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program to which you applied have not recommended your admission. Their decision was based on the requirements of their particular program, which may include, the qualifications and performance of students currently studying in the program, and/or the number of new students that the program can accommodate and support. I support their decision and therefore cannot offer you admission.

got an email today that a decision was made and to check the portal. denied with no interview, so not surprising.

got an email today (2/27/24) that I was denied. didn't have an interview so I assumed as much by this point

I didn't get an email; I just randomly checked the portal today. So excited!! This decision was fast, considering the interview was this past Friday. I was also offered a fellowship!! I also got an A in every psych course except for one, and it was a psych stats class.

Accepted! :) Very excited!!
