TTPB: I didn't apply to Dartmouth's PhD program, but went to undergrad there and am involved in research projects with a professor there. He indicated that he was doing interviews this week and next week, so I think it will be a couple weeks before you hear back officially.

Rejected from LTI PhD. Haven't heard back from MLD... though so many others have, wish they would just reject and put me out of my misery. 5 pubs, strong GPA, strong LORs,

TTPB: I had multiple interviews over the last couple weeks. If the prof told you that you have a high chance of being admitted, I think you shouldn't need to worry! We'll all hear back by the end of the month regardless of the decision; I doubt anyone has been formally accepted already.

Email still left the door open for them giving an admission offer "At this time, we do not anticipate extending further offers of admission to the CS PhD graduate program for Fall 2021. If for any reason that changes, we will contact you".

Rejected from UT, UW, and CMU but accepted into Stanford! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I think with this admissions cycle due to all the applicants there will be a lot more variance in where we get accepted or rejected to.

Strong LORs from well known faculty, 1 pub in a mid-tier journal, top 20 CS program for undergrad. 3.97 GPA, high GRE, and many projects in AI/ML area.

To the post below who have only bachelor degree, did you get any response from department or from the professor who interviewed you?

Area: security. No papers. Strong LORs, though professors are probably unknown to Stanford. Undergraduate degree from a major public university in the US with >3.95 GPA. No GRE.
