Mass rejects have gone out. Much like Wisconsin. Seems like a bad year for EECS apps.

Maybe CGPA is the reason...

Every year, we receive in the vicinity of 2000 applications for admission into our graduate program. As we can admit only a small fraction of these applicants, we must deny a majority of applications, even some very qualified ones. In the case of most applications, there is no single reason for denial of admission; consequently, we cannot be more specific as to why your application was denied.

1st Rej, really disappointed...

To the post below, my friends received their admission letters after having an interview. However, I am still waiting to hear from them. I feel since we have not heard from them, we will get rejection letter:(

Undergrad: Physics & Applied Math double major. Low GPA, one publication.

Interviewed with PI in February, received waived tuition + RA. Had very good research fit and great LoR.

Anyone heard from the biomedical engineering program? Your response is highly appreciated!

Surprisingly accepted; probably my worst fit school. No funding. I'm declining my offer. Good luck everyone else!
