As far as I know from what they mentioned in the opening day webinar, you have to pay for the first year by yourself and if you pass in the qualifiers, then you get funding and everything for the next four years!! Still, you can confirm this once :)

[not WL] TPB asking about deferrals: I know that last year they did allow a bunch of people to do that, but you should ask the program since it's not exactly the same situation this time, although depending on your country of origin it might be. Good luck.

I just declined a fully-funded offer ($31k for 5yrs, with TA requirements from 1st year onwards). Good luck to those on the WL! It is a great program.

TPB: The funding package is about $31k and $33k for TAship and RAship, respectively. I do not know about deferrals. Good luck!

Ignore Waitlist: PSU has released a few admit (4-7), so I was wondering if that's it? They asked to wait till April end. How this makes sense? Do they want to give an offer when it's too late? Also, TAMU is the same. This is so dumb. What they want to achieve from this?? Anyone have something to say about this??

The last decision had finally been received. I'll be taking at least a year off to reevaluate the need for a PhD. 0a/1w/8r

TTPB: Current student at PSU. Please don't feel too bad if you didn't get in -- there was a really large yield this year (~35 incoming students), so that plus COVID meant they had to be really stingy on admissions this year.

Does anybody know by when PSU will send out acceptance/rejection letters at latest? Also if somebody has an offer from PSU and doesn't plan to attend could you reject the offer, it's my absolute dream school. Thanks!
