Came a couple of weeks after an email that sounded like a hold or a waitlist notification, but it was hard to tell.

I was rejected from the PhD program, but I was offered admission into the M.A. program! I've heard this year was a tough combination of budget cuts and competition.

For Summer '24 start. Email notified me to check their website to read the acceptance letter. This was my 2nd attempt!

Canadian domestic applicant. 4.0 GPA over last 3 years. 2 posters, 1 pub, 2 years lab managing, 3 years overall in research, 4 years peer mentoring, 2 years as a peer support worker. Not sure what I did wrong tbh

Notified via portal - as far as I can tell I did not get an email with the status update.

No interview, got the email a few minutes after seeing the portal update

Admitted to the Urban Scholars Cohort with a Dean's scholarship of 75% tuition remission. With a scholarship like that, I think I'll decide to go here. I still haven't heard back from NYU or my top choice (Teacher's College, Columbia University), but even if I get in, I doubt I'll get a scholarship this big. Boston College was among my top choices, so I'm thrilled to get accepted with a scholarship that pays for most of the tuition. :)

I thought I did really well during the interview, but I guess not. :(
