Got acceptance letter via email. Had prior interview 3wks ago

If you haven't heard from them, you're waitlisted

The department is not doing well and is only accepting MS students or internal applicants, waste of $$ for me

2 1st Author Papers, 4 Proceeding Presentations (International Conferences), and more than 5 Proceeding Presentations (Domestic Conferences in my country)

MS in CS from top university in India, 1 publication , 2 research internships abroad

If anyone got an acceptance and is planning on going elsewhere please decline early.

They mentioned that the acceptance rate of this year is only 8%. That's ridiculuous!

Posting now because someone else asked. Know of at least one other person who was accepted around the same time. Visits are scheduled for early March. I've declined the offer. I agree its messed up that they don't send all notices at once!

Rejected after interview. Said they only admitted 2-3 from the 90 applicants this year. I have better options elsewhere but still sucks waiting so long, doing the interview, and getting rejected.

IGNORE STATUS. I see that one person has posted an acceptance and a few people have posted that they've been waitlisted. Only one notice of acceptance on here is weird. Has anyone else received either an acceptance or rejection? Seems strange that they would wait so long to send out decisions after having deliberated enough to form a waitlist.
