Mailed the department; they said anyone that did not receive an Accept or Reject until now was placed in the WL. For those who do not pretend to attend ULCA, reject the offer, please!

Please reject your offer if you are not considering UCLA for PhD Statistics.

Undergrad from MSRIT Bangalore. 3 high quality internships. 3 papers/confs. 2 college RA projects, UAV student team. Hackathon winner, leading to seed funded company. All work AI centric. I presume Strong LORs. Very grateful and relieved 🙏🏻 Best wishes to everyone waiting on admits.

What Kevin Garnett said

Hi everyone, I'd love to go here, so if you are not planning to accept their offer, could you please let the department know? Thanks!

Pretty surprising. I've taken about 10 CS courses at UCLA and received A+ or A in all of them lol. Will be going to Stanford anyway, but def butthurt about this one

Got an email informing me that a decision made on my UCLA portal. I've received a couple acceptances, so something about the tone of the email was different and I could see the rejection coming before I saw it officially on the portal. The email also came at 11:08pm (PT), I feel like people don't send out good news at that time. Disappointed, was a dream school. Still waiting to hear from UC Berkeley.

Was a very long shot anyways... Good luck to all those who got in : )

2 research publications, 6 month research internship. 1.5 years work exp. Disappointed but not surprised.

Undergrad from reputed Uni- ( two journal publications (first author) + two A* conferences (first author) ) - ( 1 years work experience as a data scientist + few months as a research assistant)-(multiple Uni. projects). I am so hurt😔

Randomly checked the portal
