Rejected from BPhil. Have already been accepted to a fully funded PhD, so I am not too upset. 2a/0w/2r out of 13 apps

My field is electrical and optoelectronic. I sent an email to my potential supervisor today, he told me that my interview was very well, they recommended I be offered a place, and letters will be passed by the university and department, I will receive the offer soon. To be honest, I am not clear whether the university will reject my application due to the background of my university(not top universities )
