"application to Georgetown PhD program has been denied" with formal letter to come

I got waitlisted two days ago by Georgetown which perfectly fits my research interests. Is there anyone who will reject Georgetown's offer especially in the section of Transregional History?

To the applicant asking about the tumor biology program at Georgetown : I am an international applicant to the program for Fall 2019 but haven't heard back yet

Has anyone heard from this program? I have been told international students are almost never accepted into this? any insights or feedback?

Got an email to check the portal!

Got an e-mail a week before (2/12) saying I had been recommended for admission, and then (2/19) this official link to a message saying I had been admitted. No funding as it stands.

@most recent Georgetown poster, which concentration did you apply to? General?

Notification came 2/21 at 11:44am EST. I'm curious to know how many people received rejections today – that is, whether I was a finalist in their selection process, or whether they just took their sweet apple time. ;)
