I checked the portal and found the rejection. Didn't get an email notification.

I received an email prior to the portal update saying I'd been placed high on their waitlist. The email also requested that I not post anywhere about my status before UVA had a chance to notify all its other applicants, which to me makes a lot of sense. This seems to be standard for their acceptances and waitlists but, after speaking with others, it seems that not everyone who was waitlisted received any emails about it before or after their portal update. Beyond this, which may not ultimately mean much, I couldn't get any other info regarding list length, rankings, etc.

Feels good to have closure! 2a/1w/3r/0p

Logged into the portal and found the sentence-long corpse just sitting there. 3a/2w/4r/2p

Was already accepted, but offered full funding today.

Emailed Yvonne Gobble last week. More rejections are going out 'in a week or two.'

Emailed to inquire. Waitlisted and likely won't hear anything until after April 15. I think everyone not outright accepted goes on the waitlist for this program.
