Anyone know if UCSD is done sending out offers? Also, when is the open house? Thank you all!

Yeehaw

AAAAHHHHH

TTPB who applied to the Computer engineering track: Congrats!! Can you share your profile in brief and also the exact specialization? Thanks

Had applied to Computer Engineering specialization offered by the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) department. Happy to have received an admission here.

!!!!!!!! I accepted the offer, as this program was my top choice. The email asked for a response by 3/10.

3.92 GPA in their post-bac program. Really surprised honestly but so excited!

TTPB: Just out of curiosity. Anyone from UCSD who got an admit and had an interest in non-learning fields like systems, networks, HPC, theory. I think they asked to mention the depth specialization or at least people would have mentioned that in their SOP or their POIs.

Not surprised because my overall gpa was 3.4! Double major in csd and neuroscience with good GREs, lots of relevant work, volunteer, and research experience.

total 6-7 years of work experience in government/military.

The admissions committee nomination still needs to be reviewed by the Graduate Division, so offer details are still pending. It's doubtful that I'll accept the offer, however, since I was accepted to a PhD program somewhere else.
