I received the unofficial offer from the ECE department on Feb 28 and Offer of Admission on uApply on Mar 3. I had an interview with POI in late January.

Was notified by email that I will be recommended for admission by the department. Undergrad was in Bio from a Canadian Uni, 3.7 CGPA, graduated a few years ago. Happiest day of my life!!

Interesting. Seems that my whole-year effort turns out to be a joke. but anyway I have way better offer, and don't f**king care about the rejection. Good for you, McGill!

Recieved an informal email from my potential advisor this morning informing me of the decision.

Internal applicant and still rejected. I saw it coming since they sent all acceptances two weeks ago. Going to a program I am super excited for so their loss.

I was notified via email to check the portal, and there was a very nice rejection letter waiting for me. I am impressed with the wordings.

Funding TBD, must notify of them of my decision within 2 weeks (March 13th).

Status is 'in review'

Email to check the portal -->"View your refusal letter". What's the point of reading the letter when you already see "refusal"? Btw this is my second time to apply. Do not waste time on this program if you are not Canadian.

They don't give funding on time of application but you can apply for TA ships
