2 REUs (one at state school, another at an ivy), 1 publication, 2 fellowships, research assistantship, on 3 conference panels

First decision and rejection on my first cycle :/

Chair said my area of research is a good fit for the program. 2 years teaching experience, no publications

Invitation to interview next week

Your typical rejection, but accepted to a fantastic fit elsewhere so no hard feelings :P

Email to check portal. Masters in other field, 4.0 gpa.

3.8 undergrad, 4.0 graduate GPA. Finishing MA in Religious Studies. Received form email rejection.

Received a personalized email noting my acceptance, formal acceptance to come from the Dean.

Was honestly expecting to get in because I'd been accepted to their MA program a couple of years ago and had to decline because of affordability, so with another degree and more experience, thought I'd be a shoo-in. Still hoping for acceptance from other programs, and wishing well to those accepted!
