For those who have been admitted by Cambridge, have you accepted the offer ? Mine still says "Under Review". - does it mean I am waitlisted ? ( applied by the Jan deadline)

anyone hearing from Gates Cambridge?

Rejected from most PhDs, accepted here.

TPB: Sorry to give you bad news but apparently all the invitations for interviews for the Gates Cambridge Scholarship were sent last Friday...

Interviewed with one of the lecturers (equivalent to AP in the US) in December. Got a conditional offer last week. According to the professor's words, the funding round just started and the result will roll out from March to July.

Hi, I received admission offer from GAO 31/01/2020. My supervisor said the Department nominated me for the Gates Cambridge Scholarship. Has any international applicant for round 2 applications received invite for the Gates interview yet? I'm so nervous at the moment because Gates website reads 'Applicants invited for interview by early march'

TBP: probably shouldn't read into it too much, but it'd be strange to request them if they didn't see at least some potential in you. I submitted in mid-January.

I applied before the January deadline.I mentioned by GRE score on my application file but was contacted by the department to confirm with the official score report snapshot. I was also told to send the score through official ETS score sending services. Not sure whether this means anything.

TPB: sounds like they are interested - when did you submit your application?

Was contacted by the graduate secretary asking for a snapshot of GRE scores...applicant portal says "Under Review"..any ideas (positive/negative)?

TTPB: applied 1st Dec, moved to GAO 30th Jan

TPB: not yet - when did you submit your application and when did you get the offer?

Has any MPhil Economics/Economic Research offer holders heard back regarding the Gates Scholarship?
