Another person here marked this email as a waitlist, but I think it's rather a soft rejection: "Many of you have emailed me regarding your status to our PhD program. At this time, faculty have not chosen your application for admission. They are still reviewing applications and will hopefully finalize their decisions soon. As soon as they complete their reviews, I will email you all regarding the final decisions."

tough luck. we ball 9 publications in q1/q2 journals. 3 book chapters. multiple industry projects. won 2 national competitions.

Rejected (finally) but accepted to the MA in European and Medieval Studies with a scholarship for 50% tuition. Did anyone else get this offer? Even with the funding is this still a scam?

Not extremely surprised. I have a Philosophy bachelors with some computer science coursework. I really leveraged fit here since there is a CS professor that employs a Philosophy/CS joint Phd student in their lab and states they specifically do joint work with philosophers. It wads worth a try.
