I was an employee of Cornell, so it had to have been an issue of not having a faculty member who wanted to advise me. This fucking sucks.

Concentration in South Asian Religious Traditions. Multiple honors, summer programs, publications and heavy amounts of language training, T20 undergrad. Shitting myself.

Told to check portal.

So excited! One of my dream advisors

What a morning I'm having LOL.

Interviewed by the three-person admissions committee in mid-January, then had a phone interview with a potential advisor the week after. Acceptance came via an email from the portal followed by an email from program administrator and Director of Graduate Studies.

Received email to check portal, rejection letter was enclosed. Was high choice for me, so this was definitely saddening. Very kind letter though

No interview, email to check portal.

Generic rejection email. offered to be considered for MS in disability and human development

email to check decision in portal, no interview

Email to check portal. Short and to the point, but one of the more heartfelt rejections. Still disappointed about it though. Congrats to those admitted!

Short, cold email. Feels like I'm barreling towards another shutout. :/
