To the post below: congratulations. Can you state what your research interest is?

all dates in IST, IIT Madras, had interviews from the same POI starting from 26-Dec-2017, 2-very strong recommendations, project is related to novel computational paradigm

Completed interview yesterday.

Accepted with nomination for university fellowship. 1 first author conference talk, 3 other conference talks, 2 journal publications in review. Interviewed with POI twice. Have not yet received a letter, only an email from the department chair, likely in PHY.

for those who were admitted to the PhD in Computer Science program, does your letter name the degree as "Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences (EECS) program" or "Computer Science program"? please I need your answer.

For those who got accepted for the PhD in Computer Science program, what is the name of the program indicated in the email you received from the admission chair? is it PhD in Computer Science or PhD in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences? I need to know this, please help.

Unofficial emails from POI and program advisor, incredible

To the poster below, what is your intended area of research? e.g. water, renewables? And also from which faculty you had your phone call?

Best of luck to the accepted cohort!

Received and email and then scheduled a short call from one of the ERG core faculty. They've made their short-list but it's too long and so they were contacting individuals from the list to try to put together a 'diverse' cohort. Decisions should be finalized by the 3rd or 4th week of February, apparently.

Accepted via email, delighted!

Have not heard back from them since the interview.

Also recommended for admission.

Phone call from the Associate Dean indicating that I've been recommended for admission. No interview prior to notification.

Anybody hear back from Berkeley yet (after interviews)?

To below admitted poster: can you give us some more information? Did you do an interview first? What are you stats? Congrats!
