has anyone heard from WMU about the MFA program? I called last week on Monday 3/4/19 and they said in "roughly ten days." Well its been 10 days and still nothing. This is the only school where I haven't heard a decision yet.

-phone call from MFA Director using Iowa City number

Accepted yesterday for poetry w/ funding via e-mail. Did not receive a prior waitlist notification, so I'm unsure if I made it in off the waitlist or if they're accepting in waves. Excited either way!

Got an email to check the portal and had a sinking feeling in my stomach. But found out I got accepted today and I was thrilled! Good luck everyone.

was called by a professor of the school.

was contacted by the Graduate Advisor for the Department. He followed up with a phone call.

Very short and direct email. Apparently, I've been on the wait-list since Feb. 23rd. 2a/1w/1r/3p

does anyone know how many were waitlisted?

I received an email about my decision letter and checked the portal to find I was accepted. I have yet to hear about funding.

Got the sweetest email from the director. Nominated for scholarships, consideration for GA-ships, but definite funding info is yet to come.

"As you’ll see, you’re quite likely to receive funding though at this date I can’t guarantee it." Apparently I'm #4 on the Poetry MFA funding list? Either way, I didn't expect to be accepted anywhere and I am over the moon. 1a/2w/5r/3p
