I have 8.5/10 from a tier 3 Indian college. Had applied for fall 24 but got for spring 25. I didn't submit GRE. TOEFL was above 110. I have some one more award and have presented a paper at a local IEEE conference.

Good undergrad GPA (9.81/10), work experience in an MNC for a couple of years and a couple of research papers.

Expected. No interview. No communication. Took forever to give a rejection, lol!

Suc...k my entire ass you stupid school

Received an email to check the portal. Submitted in Dec, after 5 month waiting, receiving the expected rejection.

No email, checked portal for update

Wild that they still haven't rejected people. Not actually "waitlisted," the portal still hasn't shown any updates since I applied. Had an interview at the beginning of February.

Email to check portal. Generic rejection letter.

My application was not even reviewed, I emailed them since I did not receive a decision by the given due date and after a few email and fake assurances of reviewing my application they just sent the rejection.

CGPA: 3.5/4.3; No GRE; 3 research internships + 3 industrial internships; 3 manuscripts (first-author published at top-tier conference, 2 pending) + 1 patent (filed to USPTO);

Ignore the status!! Did anyone hear from them???? I don't know what are they doing????? It's past April 15, and they do not send any admits nor any waitlists nor any rejections!!!! What are they thinking actually?? Does anyone know what's going on at UCSD CS department ???
