TTPB: I attended the feb 19 event. One of the POIs I am talking to told me that that event was only for students who had received a department fellowship for their first year, and that he and some other profs would be admitting a few more students who would work under RAships their first year. So I don't think all acceptances are out yet.

TTPB: Got the same email. I don't think it's an acceptance email. The way it's written, it seems like an FAQ email as they seem to be getting a lot of emails with queries. (My program is MPhil in MLMI)

I sent an email to Viterbi Graduate Admission specifically asking about the people who were not invited to the last event (Feb 19th - posted even on Instagram) and about our chances (I mean, if that non-invitation was an expected reject). The response basically was: "the most of decisions will be sent to April 15th". Besides, for them, it's impossible to indicate when a certain application is reviewed. Please guys, if someone is admitted and non-invited to these meetings, please confirm that we can trust them. Since we paid for application, that's a product with a kind of warranties.

I have just received and email saying: "Status of your application: Once an application is approved by your department, it comes to us. This is when the status of your application changes on your portal to ‘Awaiting approval from PAO' or ‘Awaiting approval from GAO'. All applications enter a queue and we need to process them manually. Under normal circumstances, we would do this in one or two weeks. Given how the pandemic has affected us, it's taking longer to process applications. We are currently processing applications that we received on the 13 February." But my portal is still at 'under review', Is anyone facing the same thing?

Already put a post below. For people who are getting a blank page do not worry. My page went blank for a few hours twice: when status changed from update pending to accepted and after accepting letter.

TTPB: Unofficial reject, received this news from POI's lab. Not sure if i was considered for other labs! Stay strong!

Accepted at a top-5 but rejected here w/no interview. To future applicants: Admissions are probabilistic. Cast a wide net when applying. Letter states: “2400 applications”

TTPB: Harvard CS rejection poster below: did you get your rejection today? How were you notified?

Opened the portal Just to check and found the admit. Still haven't received any mail regarding the same.

Does anyone know if all PhD decisions are out?

EE Undergraduate from China with an offer from EEIT. The result is pretty much predictable. Big Congs for those who received the admission!

MSML reject. This date never worked for me anyways. Like ofc on 26th many godly things have happened like 2004 Mega Tsunami, India 26/11 terrorist attacks or the Gujarat Earthquakes. This rejection just another manifestation of the omen associated with this date .
