got offered the home-to-hopkins porgram. Committed else where anyways

Got offered the sh*tty online program, f*ck this

2 years of undergrad psych research and 3 years of full-time clinical trials research (pediatric oncology, HIV etc)

If you do not find JHU the best choice, could you please decline the offer asap? I was told they could probably make offers to waitlistees AFTER Apr 15 given the current situation.

Anyone recently got admitted off the waitlist at johns hopkins civil engineering department recently and when can we hope to get a feedback, after the April 15 deadline?

Interviewed in mid-Feb, got waitlisted. Interviewed again in early April and received acceptance after about a week.

2 internships in think tank and diplomacy, no formal working experience. Fluent in English and Mongolian, 2 other languages. 2 strong recommendation letters from the chair of my undergrad institute and professor

Email from department saying waitlisted. Apparently no applicant who received the offer got back to them till last week. So, to anyone who got the offer and have already decided to go some place better, please consider declining this offer as soon as possible. This is my dream place. Atleast, I will be considered again along with the other waitlisted candidates ,if any offer holder declines. Thank you very much in advance.

Ignore waitlist? Does anyone get a PhD offer from JHU? I asked the secretary, and she said they might send it the 3rd week of April... I'm not sure whether it will be a bulk rejection or not.

I reached out to the DGS after not hearing anything for a full month after I saw other rejections for this program posted here. I asked if there was any feedback or reason for the delay. All they could tell me was that it's a small program and they only accept 2 students a year. I wish I could've known earlier so I could give my other programs an answer and it just felt like they forgot to notify me.

If you don't recieve any email from JHU as well as Cornell, don't worry! Sooner or later, you are going to receive rejection mail. Please wait for your rejection!
