Was told my research was extremely dangerous and that even though I have an excellent academic record, my undergrad record doesn't match my research proposal (BS in Math planning to go to grad school for meteorology). Volunteer experience, several publications, and Hispanic minority.Was wait listed at almost all the schools I applied to and this was my only chance for admission . . .
