For the UCLA post was it a mass email or individual ?

UCLA bumpâ–¼. I only saw a single person post a UCLA interview invite a few weeks back. I asked a current UCLA grad student about interview emails 1/3/21 and they said: "UCLA has already begun to send out neuroscience graduate program invites, along with the other UCs (like UCI, UCSF, and UCSD). UCLA requires (this year) responses from all interviewees by January 18th, and their interview process is occurring Feb. 28th - March 1st. So if you haven't received an invite yet (which I'm sure only a few students have thus far since we're still on holiday break and the campus is closed), you should receive UCLA's before January 18th."

Has anyone heard back from UCLA?

3.87 major GPA. 2 years full-time research exp. HHMI investigator LOR + 3 more letters from highly regarded faculty members at prestigious research university.

:( generic rejection email received today, same as others. 4+ years full time research experience (coop and then post-grad tech), 3 pubs including one co-first author and two more in prep, two strong letters (one from field leader) and one decent letter (also from field leader), 3.4 undergrad gpa.

SAD! 2 strong letters of recommendation from UCSF, 1 year of full-time research in UCSF. No chance to interview. Disappointed！

I don't know what's wrong with this University. They sent rejection letters to me twice. I had other interviews from the other great Universities. I don't care about you!!!!

Have a thesis based masters in Pharm, 3 years fulltime lab experience, and one pub.

Thought I had a shot at this one, had spoken to several faculty who told me that I had a good chance. All other programs I applied to have already sent out interview requests. So likely not going to happen again this year :(
