I got interview in Cyber Physics System maybe cos you guys decline it. Supervisor told me no funding available, 50k for each year and 200k for total four years. Thus, if we wanna have a PhD, just prepare enough funding. I may not agree to join this team. Good luck everyone !

no interview and so easy to get offer. Oxford is not my first choice. Just decline it and find a CS job in London.

no funding offer lol. find almost all phd without any funding maybe Brexit. EU needs to pay international fees. not accept this offer. plan to go Imperial which provides more supports.

Your supervisor will inform you whether his funding is available but in UK 95% students do not get enough funding. You need to prepare self funding if you wanna have PhD in Oxford. Home students get funding cos they have a low tuition fees. In 2021 EU students share the international fees, thus a lots of EU students wont join this terrible university. Why EU get nearly zero tuition fees for free education and UK just wanna make money from you guys. Education is a business in UK.

To the posters below, how do you know there is no funding? Does the offer explicitly state this?

Interview a week ago, if there's no funding and plan to go UCL with funding.

Undergraduate from Tsinghua University, ranking top 5 in my class. GPA 3.92, GRE 335 + 4.0, T 117, 5 papers (3 top Journal), 4 patents (2 from China and 2 from US), 3 interns from Tencent, Google, IBM, an exchange from MIT for a year. I worried US visa thus apply this position. But last month I get offer from Chicago, Michigan and Boston University. Thus, I will decline Oxford, good luck everyone.

No interview and get offer from Cyber team. No funding yet, declined the offer. Each year we need to pay nearly 50k each year (33k for tuition and 15k for living fees). I plan to go to ETH with a considerable funding support (totally covering full tuition fees 30k and provide 40k stipend). Bye Oxford, I will never go self funding.

Same with no funding and two days to accept. I may not accept too. My friends told me that CS PhD in US usually get 350k for each year while in UK is nearly 70k. It has a large gap of salary. Thus, this application is just a guaranteed offer but not the first choice. I was waiting for USC and Duke. If not offers from US, may have a year gap.

Wait a long time to get offer from Cyber Physics Team. No funding information !!! 2 days to accept !!!! I will not accept this offer (I prefer like to call it AD), its really terrible offer, I would like to go to Berkeley or UCSD, US provides full funding and living fees. If a team without any funding, how can you do a good research. If anyone get offer without funding, just go to US. UK is really poor and not a good place to have a PhD.
