Emailed with PDF of acceptance letter attached. Accepted with a funding package for four years. Political theory subfield and Social, Cultural and Political Thought emphasis. No GRE, GPA is MA. Very excited! Unsure if I will accept but thrilled to be offered funding and placement anywhere this year.

IR + Method

It was my first acceptance after 15 rejections! GPA Grad IR + Method

Similarly to another person I emailed the Political Science coordinator and was told "We have indeed made our offers, and the remaining open applications will likely be processed next week. I am afraid that I don't have any good news for you." This is a rejection and not a notification of being on a waitlist. To be honest I'm a bit surprised, as I'm a current CUNY student, have excellent letters of rec, and had interest in my thesis from prominent faculty. The coordinator added "It has been the most competitive year in the history of our program, and that by quite a margin." No GRE, Marxist political theory subfield.

Selected but without funding. It's a soft rejection.
