Like the poster below, I received an email instructing me to check the Messages section of the website. The message said that visit-day invites had gone out and if you didn't get one you're on the wait list. So, now we wait.

Low quant score, but writing and verbal in 90+ percentiles. Two years of experimental research, one publication, sixteen oral/poster presentations, one year of clinical research, several volunteer positions at inpatient hospitals or with disadvantaged youth. Very strong letters of recommendation. In an undergrad minority funding program and also a first gen college student. Competition must've been fierce! Congrats to all!

Just an FYI to whoever said that a UCSD admissions person said that all interviews have been sent out.. I called yesterday, the neuroscience department and the liaison was out of town until Thursday, so I called a lady named Linh...who told me that the interviews were going out all week, that they didn't do waves of interviews per se, but that they would be notifying people all week. Not sure who you spoke with...but I think you are incorrect.
