what is happening in their new application system? status change is vague on application portal and have not received any update yet!!!

TTPB: Also applied to the master's program here. Haven't heard anything yet or seen any other master's acceptances.

Deciding between Cornell Tech MEng CS and this one is going to be incredibly tough. I have about 2 weeks to accept one and turn down the other.

Interviewed last week of February. Decision arrived a week later. I wasn't sure about my odds because I'm in my mid 30s, yet I have 7 years of work exp. as I cofounded a 40 person tech startup in Mexico when I was 28 y/o and I was in the top 5% of my undergrad at ITESM Monterrey. I'm very excited, there are not many people who study CS at a top institution in the US or CAN, I can't believe the number of excellent students from Asia that apply for the most competitive programs. I was also accepted at Imperial College London but most prob. I will take UofT. For those of you above 30 y/o reading this, if you wanna apply don't hesitate.

TTPB: To the one talking about PhD rejections probably coming in, I have applied for the master's program. Are the master's program acceptances already out? Cause I didn't see a single post about masters students getting accepted till now. You may be correct about PhD, but are you sure about masters program too?

TTPB: I am applying for CS Ph.D., but I had the same situation as yours. I haven't been accepted or rejected yet.

TTPB: Same for the Ph.D. results. I guess the rejections will be given since the acceptance was done already. It is mostly a sign that the decision has been notified to graduate school from the department.

To the Michigan CS Master's admits: are your admits for the MSE or MS program? When did you folks apply?

Rejected because there were no suitable supervisors available to help for my research. Had high expectations but this came along.

Given acceptance directly over email. International application from one the best private universities in India. GRE - 321, 3 international papers, great SOP/LORs. Research experience at MSR India, Microsoft IDC, and Mitacs.
