Accepted with advanced standing and merit scholarship

Received the email from Faculty Director this afternoon - admitted to their 2-year Master of Architecture program. Official admission letter to be sent out in late March. The financial package is mentioned, I will know when I receive the official letter :) Background: Canadian domestic undergrad, not the highest GPA, average around B+. Portfolio and reference letters are decent.

Had a delightful interview with the program director last Friday. Honestly didn't expect the offer to come this fast. Feeling lucky :D

Canadian BA in Architectural Studies

Is the M.Arch very competitive this year? I am shocked that I didn't receive any funding considering my work experience and portfol. I was quite confident about the applications. Now waiting for other schools. Background: Canadian architecture undergrad, 2+ years local work experience, decent portfolio.

My academic achievements were as follows: BS as a valedictorian in an international university; MS in the same school; 3 peer-reviewed journal papers (2 first-author, 1 co-author); 2 first-author international conference presentation (and a lot more in co-author); 3 patent applications in my home country; totally 2.5 years' research experience;

The offer without funding arrived on March 10th, but the offer with partial funding arrived on March 12th.
