Reply to the previous posts: I was notified an admission decision (transportation) on 3/18 by email. It is not from the department so I assume the funding and other details are coming out later. It is currently spring break at Austin from its Calendar. The department might get back to work next week. If you are waiting for people to reject the offer (transportation), you also need to wait a bit longer since there is no offer from the department. | ||||

Waiting until Admitted Students Day (March 28-29 for the poster who asked when it was) to talk to students/faculty and see if the program will be the best fit for me. Applied for PhD in Atmosphere/Energy, accepted to MS with funding. Apparently this is standard practice for A/E applicants without a Masters. I need to secure some more funding before re-applying internally next year. Very stoked to return to my alma mater. Best of luck to everyone in their application cycles. | ||||
