Took forever to get an update lol

Please ignore the wait list. Has anyone heard from the Department of Civil and Mineral Engineering? I got a mail towards the beginning of April that they are still rolling out admissions till May and that I should be patient with them.

Ignore the waitlist. Anyone got MASc offers/ rejections from ECE. It is more than 5 months since I submitted the application and yet to hear from them

Received an acceptance to the MScAC program. technical interview happened on 22nd April. Stats- 9.01 GPA from a not-so-well-known uni in India. 1 conference paper in Springer (co-author), 1.5 YoE in an MNC, 2 internships, No GRE.

I contacted the PI prior and got really positive feedback, applied and got no news until rejection in portal. I personally feel betrayed since I could not even afford the application fee (international student). I feel now they generally say apply to "everyone" to they can make enough money (otherwise, I spend days preparing/talking to them, the least they could do was to explain my rejection in more details). I mean, you know my application quality, why bother giving hope to those who are barely holding and not even privileged enough to apply to many schools (due to application fee). Ngl, I just want to say fuck you UofT.

Received unofficial rejection around 3 weeks ago.

MSc program. International student. Almost forgot I applied here since it's been 5 months since I submitted my application.

took them long enough

International

Received email to check the portal for update.

was weird bc I go to UTSC and my acorn says "invited" but I got a rejection letter. Status on acorn will probably go away considering there's nothing to accept

So shocked that I got into this program! I know I have good grades but this program is so competitive, and I didn't get into all of the schools I applied to. For future applicants: the day before I received an acceptance email, I went onto ACORN and noticed that there was a little "invited" in orange text next to my degree registration status. The next day, I checked the SGS portal (the one you use to check your application status) and it had an update. A few hours later I got the email notifying me that there was a change. Sharing these minor details to try to demystify this process! I know how desperate I was for any nuggets of information. I accepted the offer on April 1st -- so excited to start this program in the fall!

Ignore the status. Is there anyone who heard back from PhD program in Materials Science at University of Toronto? Especially any international students? Thank

Domestic Applicant.

Not surprised, as first round came out in March. Got accepted into another school with full funding and a TA package.

MScAC course. Got an interview invite at April 15. Interviewed same day at 9:30 PM IST. Got an email saying there has been an update on my portal at 4:35 AM IST. Tier 2 University from India, 9.51 GPA from India, 3 internships out of which 1 is MITACS. 4 paper, all under review, 324 GRE and 8 IELTS.
