Accepted to the Sociology - PhD / Women’s Studies MA Program. Received an email saying to check the portal.

Email notification. 3a/1w/4p

currently in undergrad, got an email about acceptance with 4 years of funding. very excited, this was one of my top schools and I was preparing to not get into any program. the portal does not say anything about my acceptance however 1a/3r/3p

No GRE, straight from undergrad. I’m so grateful this is my first acceptance and my first cycle. I’ll get to be the first Dr in my family.

Ignore status!!! Did anyone interview with Columbia? Not sure if I should still expect a favourable answer…

No email, just saw others post WL and checked portal. Will ask to be taken off of WL bc I’ve already committed to another program. 6a/1w/4r/4p

one old rejection. Their loss, not my fault.

Got the message from the graduate cordinator. This is my last hope...please decline if you have been accepted in another university. Masters GPA

Email to check portal status. 4a/4r/5p

Canadian (domestic). Declining interview to go to UofT

Fully Canadian trained, GPA from Masters, got an email notice for an interview, to happen next week. No change in status (still says pre-screening), fingers crossed.

So, so happy!!! Informal email from grad director + anticipated supervisor tonight. Had an informal interview in mid- January.

Email notification. This is my dream program and my second time applying. Please, please consider notifying them if you have been accepted and won’t be attending! Thank you!
