DMA - Rejection email. Odd wording, though: "I regret to inform you that your application for admission ... has not been approved. We are therefore unable to offer you the opportunity to audition." One of my recommendation letters (frustratingly) arrived over 2 weeks late (on 12/16/14), so I wondered if the application itself was not approved on the grounds of being incomplete...?

DMA - generic rejection email.

Interviewed with composition faculty at Eastman on 2/6/15. One other PhD (and 2 DMA) prospectives there (on one of two interview days). Outcome unknown for another month.

DMA Composition, not surprised, wasn't a good fit

DMA - TA details to follow

DMA - funding/TA details TBD after interview

No email; checked website, and it said "deny"

DMA Composition, generic email sent

DMA composition, email to take test and interview with faculty

Third acceptance. Offer for funding ($13k per year with opportunity for up to $15k) and tuition. Very nice phone call from the DGP followed by an email.

GPA is from MA program.

Have a MA already, presented at several national conferences. They said they'd know more in March/April about whether there was a spot for me.

Very kind email! Includes an invite to a meet and greet on campus.
