MSCS program. Will join Columbia I guess

Rejected :/ Tier-2 Uni from India. Decent profile, but kinda expected a reject from UIUC. Good luck with other decisions everyone

TTPB who got admit on 28th Feb: I got an email from CS dept about getting accepted into MS CS program. A few days later I received a link to activate the NetID. However, the EngineeringCAS and Howdy portals both show status as Submitted, not Accepted. Is it the same for everyone? Also, is there a group for TAMU MS CS admits?

CS undergrad from UIUC, 3.8 GPA, 1 year of research, 2 strong and 1 okay LOR, no publications, oh well

Received an email from UIUC-MCS, my application is still under review, and they are expected to notify the decision by March 31, 2021. Maybe I get admitted? There are all rejs today.

***Not waitlist*** Just got an email from the admission office stating that my application (MCS) is still under review. Thank you for your interest in the Master of Computer Science program at the University of Illinois, for Fall 2021. Due to the high interest in this program, our admissions committee continues the review process to ensure a thorough review of all applications. Your application remains under review as of March 15, 2021. We expect to send a decision by March 31, 2021.

MSCS. Generic rejection mail, expected. 9/10 GPA, 2 pubs in top conferences, from a top tier-2 college.

Expected :)) Seems like POI recommendation and interview was very imp in getting an Admit. Anyone applying to UIUC next year should consider emailing and talking to POI before submitting application.

UIUC MCS and UMass MSCS - both have deadlines today, and I haven't heard from either. No email. No website status change. Anybody in the same boat? Seeing the UIUC bloodbath below, I am feeling like a prisoner waiting to be executed.

Clicked on the "Check Status of Application Materials" tab. Got the following message: You are not authorized to access this component. (40,20) You have not been granted security authorization for the component you are attempting to access. You may have access to the designated component and page, but not in the specified action mode (such as Correction or Update/Display). Contact your system administrator. Anyone else faced this before? Also, would be very helpful if the ones who got admits could tell if you applied for MS/PhD or vanilla MS. Thanks a lot :)
