Really wanted to get accepted here and worked hard on my application, but alas.

MS/PhD applicant here. I think no MS/PhD results are out yet. Might be wrong. Would be great if any future posters would mention if they applied for MS/PhD and got results (For MS/PhD or just vanilla PhD) to help us. Thanks :)

TTPB: The person who is rejected, I am sorry for your rejection. Did you apply for MS/PhD or MS only?

Rejected after update pending status. :'(

Anyone else other than the guy a few comments below for whom the status has changed to update pending on spire?

IELTS 7.5

Rejected from Direct Entry PhD. 4.24/4.30 undergrad GPA. Honours and 2 years of research in different branch of CS. Ruthless cycle.

Rejected from MSc in CS. Received the e-mail a few minutes ago.

Worked with a UIUC prof for 1.5 years -- ended up writing top-tier paper without any help of MS/PhD students. Still rejected. POI emails me to do more work the same day I get the email. A**hole. UIUC can go fu*k itself.

UoT profs apparently do not consider international students for fully funded masters due to not having enough "funds". They only consider them for direct Ph.D. Sadly , most people who applied do not know that because UoT does not state this anywhere. This info was something professors admitted to when asked by potential graduate students.

I was told to accept within 2 weeks with 4k deposit. I am not sure I can decide by then. Has anyone been able to accept later than 2 weeks? (as in does the admit still hold?)

TTPB who said "Heard they do not accept for masters after applying...". What exactly do you mean? Where did you hear it from?

Heard they do not accept for masters after applying...

Already accepted offer for UCSD (ML)

Generic Rejection.
