To the purdue poster below: Yes, the mail doesn't say anything about waitlist. Instead, it says the file is still under review and results will be out by 15th april.

To the Purdue waitlisted posts, I have received a mail from Purdue saying I shall be notified by 15 April, but it does not explicitly state my status as WaitListed, instead it says your file is still under review. What about yours?

To the posters below: If admitted students have time upto 15th April to accept/decline offer, how can we be notified before 15th April?

E-mail stating Department has recommended me for admission, a formal communication will come for department itself. Mail said - funding not generally available to all applicants, nothing further. Orientation on Aug 15, 2016

To the poster below: I received the same email, they told me that the decision will be out by April 15! Probably, They give all offers to people in 1st round already. They don't reject us yet just because if someone who got admission in the 1st round decline it, they will give admission to one of us who are in the waitlist ! Damn, other school tell me to make decision by April 15, I want to wait for Purdue but it can't :( Georgia Tech is not a bad choice anyway

At this time, faculty have contacted students of interest and have conducted interviews towards making admission recommendations and funding offers. If you have not been contacted, you might pursue other opportunities you have received. If you were previously contacted by a BME faculty member, we would encourage you to reach out to them if you are still interested. Applicants will be notified by email from the Purdue Graduate School once final decisions have been recorded. The Weldon School doesn’t set a specific date on which this will occur for BME and IBSc applicants, but likely by the end of March or early April. Best wishes.
