Received an email that I had been accepted, My undergraduate GPA was 3.9 and my Masters degree was done at Wayne State University and my GPA was 4.0.

No GRE submitted. Had prior meetings with multiple potential advisors in advance of applying. Multiple short-term positions in academic labs in undergrad and outside of undergrad. Currently a Fulbright US Student doing research as a Master's replacement. One manuscript in progress based on undergrad senior thesis project.

Got this message over mail, Thank you for your interest in our program. Our admissions process is still in progress. We have sent out our first round of offers. Your file is strong, but our admissions team did not place it in our highest priority list. We have an extremely limited budget for international students, so these positions are very competitive. However, we are not rejecting any applications at this point. Hope this helps!
