Did anyone hear from UT Austin for Transportation engineering (PhD) track?

Didn't get an interview in February and thought it’d be a rej. No hard feelings though...

Extremely late response considering they said I would receive notification within 30 days of application (Applied in December), but still good news. No information about funding, but assuming that it was not provided.

I graduated from UCLA a year ago, so I had contact with faculty in several tracks throughout undergrad. But no, I haven't contacted anyone regarding my application.

To the poster below, did you speak with the general department admission officer or had a phone call with a specific faculty? Also can I kindly ask if you have contacted the faculty, which track is he working on?

Called the admission officer, and I was told that they were super busy with reviewing all the applications and that they were way behind their schedule. I honestly CAN'T understand how they ended up being so behind the schedule, it's been bloody fxxking 4 months omfg!!! And it seems that they couldn't even guarantee to make a decision by 4.15.

Finally got the rejection. Was wondering when it would come. After all, it is April

Still no response, and I'm losing hope. Is anyone else still waiting? (My overall GPA is low, but upper division GPA = 3.5)

I am wondering if anyone has received any sort of notification from this program?! According to the website, the final result announcement due would be early April thought! Such a long period since early January to hear back from the committee! Please update

TTPB: I contacted the department 10 days ago and they replied that all the applications are under review by the faculty and they haven't made the decisions yet. Since April 15 is fast approaching I hope they make some decision soon.
