To the person who got rejected last year, on what date last year did you receive that email?

Any idea when will UC Davis and UC Irvine declare their admits for fall 2021?

No international admits so far?

TTPB Will the status be updated on applyweb? I applied last year and got rejected, but there was no status update on the portal. I just got the rejection mail last year.

Rejected twice. Will need to write GRE again and apply next year.

This was my dream school! I'm beyond happy rn!!!

I think all of ApplyWeb is undergoing maintenance.

Hmm, went to check my app status on the portal and the system is down 9 PM PT.

Got a generic reject email on 16th March. The content reads that I have been rejected for the program while I applied for MCS. It looks like a placeholder. Also, my status on the application portal still says “Awaiting Decision”. Anyone else in the same boat?

Get ready for the pain train and the trail of red. Lel

I guess Stanford is planning to reject us all next week after the weekend huh. Those bastards. Just give me a quick death.

TTPB: I received it at 12:50 pm PDT

congrats to those admitted. What time did you receive the notifications?

A ton of research experience and papers at top conferences (1 first author, 3 other papers). Perfect GPA at Top-5 CS school. Great SOP and Rec Letters (professors with whom I conducted research). No extracurriculars really. FAANG internship.

TTPB: To the poster below who wanted to tear someone down for being admitted -- I know rejection hurts and you may feel bitter/jealous at someone else's success, but it's not healthy for you nor for others. I hope you feel better, don't let Stanford's admission/reject define your success as an individual, and also don't let Stanford's admission of someone give you cause to put them down. Just my 2c. To those who were admitted: congrats! And best of luck on your studies and career :)

B.S. in CS from Top-5 CS school. Near perfect GPA. 1 year of research experience at a research institute, and 1.5 years at two research groups each. No publications, but a solid senior thesis. 2x internships at a FAANG and 1x at a unicorn.
