TTPB: I submitted around mid-January, status "In review", No interview.

TTPB: They have not responded to my mail as well. I had submitted my application in October 2019. Could please tell when did you submit your application and what status is it showing- submitted or in review? Also, please confirm if you have received any interview call from them yet. Thanks!

TTPB: I emailed the dept earlier this month they said they are "in peak season", I emailed them again asking when should we be expecting to hear back but they did not respond.

TTPB who got accepted in Computer Science Masters at McGill University. When did you have your interview?

25k in funding and tuition reimbursed. Admitted to Mila studying ML theory.

TTPB with McGill results: I was wondering what is the status on the https://mcgill.ca/uapply? It is still showing Submitted for me. Has it been changed for you guys? Is there anywhere that the status can be changed?

Don't be so pessimistic dudes. Although there is COVID we all know how 'efficient' Mcgill CS department was last year :).

TTPB (Both of the McGill Applicants Below): 1) I think the same. They have already sent out admits, but I have seen very fewer posts of admits/rejects/waitlist here and on Yocket. I check regularly. 2) Mine is also Non-Thesis based and shows the same status i.e. "Submitted". Probably a reject I think because already 4 months have passed since I applied. I got the reject from Waterloo last week as well. So probably McGill's result will be the same and batch reject just like Waterloo's. Have anyone of you applied to McMaster for M.Eng? Computing and Software? mine still says pending, but one of my friends already got a reject sometime around March.

How about the non-thesis based? Mine is still 'Submitted' since Feb 29

TTPB: I don't think they're taking any more students in, in particular internationals. As far as I know most decisions have gone out already. Kind of expected due to the whole ongoing situation right now.

TTPB: I got the same response on 20th of March when I asked them about the status of my application which is still "submitted". I don't think they will accept me although due to low GRE, but this is completely outrageous taking so much to time to review applications. I have submitted my application around 30th of Dec

Response to my status clarification request (Masters, Thesis-based): "Good morning, We have received over 1000 applications and our committee is still making their decisions as well as we are currently in crisis due to the Coronavirus. The university has taken measures to allow its staff to work from home. Decisions will take a lot longer than expected. We thank you for your time and patience."

Accepted off the waitlist.
