Current LSE Masters student, got a 1st in my undergrad at a mid-table UK university - still no reply/offer. Applied on early December been waiting over 12 weeks! (excluding the Christmas two week break). I have heard that some offers have already been issued for a PhD in IR... fingers crossed.

3.9 (3.7 CGPA), multiple publications, work experience with International Organizations. A bit disappointed and surprised, but life moves on! Good luck to the rest!

to the person below, I didn't put this in before but I just saw your message- I applied October 28th and was accepted December 20th so I'd expect you'll get your decision within the next few weeks! if it helps- I had a 3.6, 2 relevant internships, good SoP, one good LoR and one okay one.

Conditional Offer

Was told by the department that I won't be nominated for the first round of the PhD studentship this month, but that there's a possibility I would be put forward in the second round in June. Is this the end of the road? :/
